Signet Society capstone
Midnight in the Hive was Grace's capstone project of her Artist-in-Residence fellowship at the Harvard University Signet Society of Arts & Letters. The film is inspired by the hand-drawn posters from the 1800s to the present day that line the Signet's walls, and envisions them coming to life through the magic of dance and music.
The motto of The Signet Society is Create Art & Live It. Midnight in the Hive literalizes that motto through characters inspired by the characters in the Signet posters coming to life.
