I’m a Chinese-Canadian and American filmmaker drawn to the quiet moments that shape who we become. My work centers on coming-of-age stories, exploring identity, belonging, and the space between where we start and where we’re going.

Most recently, I was the Artist-in-Residence at the Harvard University Signet Society of Arts and Letters, where I developed original narrative and documentary work alongside artists across disciplines.

Before focusing fully on filmmaking, I spent a decade working at the intersection of storytelling and culture. As a Creative Director for the Film and Entertainment team at Instagram, and earlier as a Communications Strategist at Google, I led global campaigns for films and series that reached audiences around the world.

At the center of everything I do is a desire to expand whose stories are seen and how they are told.
